What would you say is an average sized pike for Black Lake?
Last year was our frist time fishing BL and I'd say the average pike length was 24" We caught some smaller and some bigger, but I bet 75% were between 22 and 26"
The smallest being about 12 and the largest being about 30.

Hep, I caught one about 12 inches long in Lonesome Bay. Guess they have to start at some small size. It's funny- my largest pike came from Lonesome Bay also. I have other spots that are more favored. Seems to me that the average size might be a little longer than 24" though. Maybe 27". They're in that water over 40 inches however. I keep hoping with every cast to bring one of those monsters in.

I agree. The average for our party is around 28" Our largest so far for four trips is 35". It was caught near the upper end of the cut. We have had much larger fish on the line but failed to boat them. FISHNGUY
