Just returned from Lake Ontario, Mexico Bay. Trolled for Browns for a couple days and came up MT. The water was in the high 30's low 40's and Sat. and Sunday the lake was very calm. There were a few boats Fri. and Sat. very few Sunday morning. It was nice just getting out.

I've gone Salmon Fishing there, right out of the mouth of the river, out to Nine Mile Point. GREAT spot!

Has anyone fished Sandy Pond? Before I became a BL addict we went there every year. The LB fishing was awesome!

Heading for Mexico Bay in the morning. Hope the water has warmed up some and with this rain looking for some mud flows. Leave around 2 in the morning and stop at the Grist Mill for breakfast, should be on the water by 5.

Was on the water for 4:45 AM. light rain and small rolers. Picked up fish on the sounder suspended in 15 to 20 feet of water. About daylight the rain came in buckets and the wind came up, had to take it in. Seen one other boat on the water that came in right after we did, one heading out as we came in but he turned around and came back in. Hope to try again in the coming weeks.

Mainly Browns but some Cohos and a few Kings, I saw a Steelhead taken in Catfish Creek. Been pretty slow but should be picking up most any time now.
