Anybody venture over to the western side of the Adirondacs adjacent to BL? Would be interested in a short day trip if anyone has a favorite spot to visit. Would have to be a family-friendly place. Not looking to backpack, etc.

I've thought about that, especially whne I get to take extended stays up there, (7 - 10 days). Never knew where to start though.....

Thanks for the tips, guys. I've received some really nice promo booklets in the mail now. Still haven't really found the info I'm looking for, like a list of family-friendly hikes to waterfalls or sights of interest. Seems like somebody would have this, but a web search has left me high and dry. Guess we'll just have to stay in the boat fishin' all week like every other year! Gee, that's gonna be tough!!!
