a mere 71 days until we arrive for 5 days of BL adventures. I am sure it cannot possibly be as HOT as last June.....High 80's - 90 everyday, little (if any) wind! In any event my shipment of goodies to replenish the tacklebox should be arriving from BassPro shop any day now. Can't wait to arrive, but as I always say........some of the best part of our trips is the anticipation and the pre trip planning. Anyone else going to be up June 5 - 9. Let us know and maybe we can hook up. JimB

WOW only 70 days, this will fly by fast! gearing-up for this Sat. am trout. weather forcast is tooo gooood tooo be true. right now all streams in my area are low and slow perfect. now all i have to do is fish deep and slow. the biggest problem is cold water temps. that will slow the browns down. will post when the day is done.

well the Bass pro order finally arrived !! I feel like Santa just left. Roadrunners and Cranks.........and a few new jigheads. I can't wait to "play" with these, in mere 59 days. This Spring.... Monday thru Friday YEEHAW !! Maybe a 14lb northern this year instead of a 14lb Cat ! Although don't know if 4lb test would hold up for that one....LOL. Jim

well jim and i are under 30 days and counting. the planning has been on-going with numerous phone calls and e-mails. as many may know this is one of the better parts of our trip. although nothing replaces our time on the water. as always we hope for good over-cast skies and please NO COLD-FRONTS. AND THIS ONE IS FOR YOU MOTHER-NATURE jim has a new gortex rain suit so like he says bring it on MOTHER.

as far as egging mother nature on.....what are you nuts !! I can see them winds whipping now.........BUT with no rain.......... LOL. Cloudy, light variable winds, maybe even an occasional rain shower would be permissable, BUT please keep the wind to a minimum , Ma Nature please. The old tacklebox is all checked and stuffed to the gills with tackle. Menu is complete. Time to get our gameplan in order which is a constant work in progress. Hey "Daves" did you get the pictures for your board yet ??

It could snow and the two of you would still have a good trip. Good luck and have a safe trip. Look forward to your report.
