Looks like (tentatively) I'll be bringing the family up the week of the 27th. Haven't had the boat in the water for over a year, so I'm pretty primed to finally get some lines wet.
If you see the lighthouse blinking under the cedar ranch just as you're coming into Mile Arm, stop in for beer or a burger!

this is for bilbo. how do i fly fish for browns in this awfull humid weather? ? 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning while you're dreaming !!!! I would think you're best shot is EARLY morning before the sun can get to the water. Deeper rifts or pools with nymphs, get them down.

Hopefully me and the wife will be up on Sept. 12th, the week before the Dash. We stay at the very 1st place on the lake, Massousipi, or something close to that, thats why I call it John's place. I have been going up to the lake for 4 years now and have bragged to her how good the quality & numbers of fish were and have yet to prove it to her. Her 1st time to the lake was last Sept. with the water level 4 ft. above normal level and pitching Senko's in the trees 30 feet further in then the banks usually are. Maybe this fall will be like the others I've had there. Maybe we'll hook up in Sept. Ridg
