Alot of spinner baits these days dont have a traditional eyelet. Instead, the just have a tight bend in the wire. Steel leaders never seem to want to stay where they should. They slide all over the place. I don't know how original this is but it's a solution that came to me on my last trip to BL. Cut a small piece of wide rubberband about 1/4 inch long and punch a hole in it with a knife. Now push the hole over the bend where the leader will be attatched. Now put the leader on. It worked well for me and I was able to use some of my favorite bass spinners and not worry about a pike making off with one of my baits. FISHNGUY

GOOD tip fishguy. They can be a pain the way they make them. Alot of spinner baits these days dont have a traditional eyelet. Instead, the just have a tight bend in the wire. That's a great idea!! Jigging spinning baits thru the weeds almost ALWAYS cause the lewader to slip out of that bend for me.

Tiny "O" rings work great too.
