Well, maybe, but I'm not sure . . . what the heck is a pronosticator Sure hope that I typed "Prognostiacator". How would you like to take a guess about the "Ice-Out" date? Ice-Out" is defined as the date that there is no ice between the State Boat launch amd the closest island shore.

;D ;D Indian River has cleared a path out to the otherside of T-Island as of this past Sunday. I'd say if the weather continues the way it is, ice will be gone from my end of Lake by this weekend and gone completely from the rest of the lake by the middle of nest week. Rain and sixty degree weather tend to eat at the ice pretty quickly. Will be going down Thursday and check again to check the progress. Hopefully bullheading this weekend from my camp.

(Thursday Rpt.)The Indian River has opened a pretty wide swath now out into the lake. Still about 100 feet of ice out from the shore by my camp. Looking pretty black and pitted with holes. Need a little wind from the south to get things moving. Hopefully by sunday ice on my end of lake will be gone.

;D Ice is completely gone from mouth of Indian all the way out through the narrows. Bullheads and catfish were both caught Friday night . Bullheads are biting in other areas down the lake so the fishing season is on. Stopped at Rossie today and the Game Warden is posted and Walley run is on, their in pretty thick. Enjoy the season.

lol..by the end of the week the posts will be, "What's the water level??" lol Yep, we need a good way to measure the water level. If somebody that lives on the lake cdould put a metered stick in the ground or use some impovable object it would be nice to get frequent reports on the water level.

Just look for me out in that Wooden Boat of mine. We hope to be up the last weekend of April to open our camp. But the weather looks as though we may have to wait for another weekend. That is too cool! Thanks ;D
