Website says approximately 3-1/2 miles from Hammond. It is south of the bridge somewhere along 6.

It's next to McLears. Coming from Hammond, I believe it would be the 5th camp you come to. If you have a Hot Spots map, it shows the location of the camps on the lake.

We icefished this past Feb and stayed there for the weekend. He only had the larger place opened. It was old but in decent shape - clean and warm and that's all I'm looking for.

Was it the four bedroom? My parents are staying in it for the week. Thanks

I believe it did have 4 bedrooms. We had 10 guys staying and it accomodated us quite well. I would stay there again. I thought his price was high, though. He charged $30 per man per night - $600 for the weekend. If I were to try and book him in the winter again, I would try to negotiate a better price. I emailed everyone advertised on the old board as being open in the winter. No one else could handle that many guys for a weekend or were booked on the dates we wanted. I guess when space is limited the value goes up. I wonder what you regulars to Black Lake think about that rate.
