Got a question for you guys.
I have a 1975 johnson 115hp on my boat. I dont need all that power as I usually go to trolling motor only lakes. I am thinking about selling it or trading for a smaller motor in case I do go to a lake where motors are allowed. I had all ne electronics done on it at the end of 2003. stator coils powerpack and tuned up. It stilla typical old johnson a little stubborn when cold. I only ran the motor 1 time since I had all the new stuff put on. If I do decide to sell it what should I ask for it or what would be a good trade? and how much newer could I get on a less Hp motor

I would call a dealer, like Shermerhorn's up at Chippewa Bay, or a local one to you and see what they say as to it trade in value, etc... Unlike car dealers, most boat shops are pretty honest guys.

I might give my guy a call and see what he says. I m not to sure what to do I am thinking of getting a bass tracker 175 with just the 25 on it next year so overall trade in would prolly be better with the 115 on it
