We got to Black at 1:00 am the 17th and was on the water at 4:30 fished all morning but the wind was not helping . We still picked up 10 LM biggest being 3 lbs. White Senko's and spinner baits seemed all they wanted. After the morning fish we all needed a nap. 2 hours of sleep was not going to do it. Got back on the water around 4 and the fishing was about the same with a nice 26 in pike caught on a pink senko on the north side of the bridge. The next day I went up fish creek to get out of the wind and first fish was a 8 lb catfish. LM were still a little off but got some on plastic worm Tequila sunrise seemed to be the coler. No pike but it was nice to get out of the wind. The next day started in upper big bay and never left, wind was better and the LM turned on got at least 50 lm with 20 of them 1.5 to 3 lb range. I tried anyting I had that was weedless and they hit it. The afternoon fish was all about pan fish for shore dinner and boy was that goooooood. Never got the 7 lb bass I was looking for but a fun time anyways . Hope everyone had a nice Fathers day and got lots of fish.

Glad to see that you took some of that Western NY early Bass season up with you. If you hadn't the DEC might have popped you for targeting Bass out of season.
